Successful construction tech entrepreneur with $1.6bn exit to Oracle, joins the board of ASX listed construction tech company

This successful industry entrepreneur, who sold his previous construction technology business to Oracle for $1.6bn, has joined the board of an ASX listed construction technology company.

Rob Phillpot was a Co-founder of Aconex, which was acquired by Oracle in 2018 for AUD1.6bn.

Aconex Limited was an ASX 200 listed public Australian company providing mobile and web-based collaboration technologies for project information and process management, on a software as a service basis, to clients in the construction, infrastructure, power, mining, and oil and gas sectors.

Rob has recently joined the board of Felix Group, which is listed on the ASX under the ticker ASX:FLX.

Felix has built a cloud-based enterprise procurement platform that also helps construction firms deal with sub-contractors and vendors. Felix provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for organisations and vendors to discover, manage and engage with each other.
