AppDynamics develops application performance management (APM) solutions that deliver problem resolution for highly distributed applications.

It is an application performance management and IT operations analytics company based in San Francisco. The company focuses on managing the performance and availability of applications across cloud computing environments as well as inside the data centre.

What does Harness do?

Harness aims to simplify the software delivery process. It is a Continuous Delivery as-a-Service platform for engineering and DevOps teams to release applications into production.

The software automates and secures the Continuous Delivery process for teams, and that uses machine learning to roll back failed deployments.

How have investors validated Jyoti Bansal’s new venture?

Harness, which was spun out of BIG Labs, a startup studio, in 2017, has raised $85 million of venture capital from top tier investors such as Menlo Ventures, IVP, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Unusual Ventures, and ServiceNow Ventures.
