Evan Williams was the Founder of Twitter, which was listed on the NYSE at a USD14.2bn valuation in 2013. 

His latest venture is called Medium, where he is the Founder and CEO.

What is Evan Williams’ track record of success? 

Evan (Ev) Williams is a serially successful entrepreneur in the publishing industry. He coined the term “blogger” and successfully founded 3 digital publishing (blog based) businesses. 

His first business was called Blogger, which was acquired by Google.

Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries.

His next venture, Twitter, reached a USD14.bn billion dollar valuation when it listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2013 (NYSE:TWTR).

Twitter is a ‘microblogging’ system that allows you to send and receive short posts called tweets. Tweets can be up to 140 characters long and can include links to relevant websites and resources.
